In November, Progression Leadership team members Josh Morris and Mario Wild travelled to Nashville, Tennessee to collaborate with Grand Dynamics International and deliver an innovative team leadership program modeled on lessons learned during the Thai Cave Rescue.
The program included a private screening of The Rescue from critically acclaimed directors Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin followed by a Q&A in which Josh and Mario shared details of the rescue. Stephen Koch delivered an inspirational keynote on achieving the impossible by sharing stories of his most famed ascents and descents of large mountains. Josh followed with a keynote on effective decision making and fluid communication across myriad cultures in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
The entire event culminated in a simulated rescue from a cave near Nashville where leaders experienced in real time the consequences and rewards of their decisions. See the full video here.
